How We Started
Welcome to Roux & Rose Co. – where passion for natural skincare and family care meet. Our story began when I, a mom of four, found myself searching for natural alternatives to soothe and protect my family’s skin. Tired of the harsh chemicals in store-bought products, I began experimenting with tallow, a natural fat that has been used for centuries for its nourishing properties.
What started as a quest to create safer, more effective skincare for my loved ones quickly turned into something more. As I learned about the amazing benefits of tallow, beeswax, and other pure, high-quality ingredients, I realized I could offer these products to others. Thus, Roux & Rose Co. was born –

Meet the Maker Behind Roux & Rose Co.
Hi, I'm Robyn.
I'm the face and heart behind Roux & Rose Co.! My journey to creating natural skincare started with a lifetime of battling sensitive skin and eczema. Right before discovering tallow, I was dealing with a particularly bad case of eczema on my Achilles tendons. Nothing worked, no matter what I tried. But when I used tallow balm for the first time, it healed right up—and it hasn’t come back since!
That experience changed everything. I noticed that traditional products often irritated my skin, with ingredient lists full of words I couldn’t pronounce. I wanted something simple, clean, and effective to match my lifestyle of whole, natural living.
At Christmas, I decided to make my own tallow balm and whipped up 36 jars to gift to friends and family. To my surprise, they loved it and started asking if I’d sell it. And just like that, Roux & Rose Co. was born!
